Background:
Former US Marine, MLB Baseball Coach and Scout Nicholas Holmes (Nick) wanted to educate players and students in a 
structured, systematic way throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.
I was asked to develop the Kaizen Koaching brand, including brand design, logo, design collateral and overall brand messaging,
as part of the World Baseball Experience and Global Sports Metrics value offering.

Objectives: 
• Design dynamic video, education, and apparel-focused brand.
• Ensure consistent look and feel across different cultural interpretations of Kaizen.
• Create animated logos, audio profiles and video doodles.
• Edit training videos with voice-over, doodles, branding and stop-graphics.

Challenges faced: 
•  Time zones: Nick is based British Columbia, Canada, feedback and collaboration was limited to after 22:00 SAST.
•  Short turnaround times: Brand had to be developed and implemented within 7 days as part of funding drive.
•  Linguistic reference to Kaizen, and implementation of meaning in a multi-disciplinary way.

Results:
30 videos with bespoke intros, sound effects, doodles and closing animations.
Brand exhibited at Global Baseball Coaches Conference 2021 with great acclaim.
Kaizen Koaching was awarded funding by Canadian Government for Player Development.
